Victory-laden Greetings to you all,

As was planned, our Debate team went to St John High School today and competed against established schools that are firmly rooted in the Debate competitions as strongholds. Our school came in as the contest underdogs, with this competition being our first competitive fixture. However, against all odds, we brought out the class and excellence in us. To the surprise and marvel of many, we managed to scoop the following accolades: –

1. Kundai F 3 was announced as the Best Speaker of the competition and was also a Finalist Winner.
2. Zaid Wilson was a finalist winner.
3. Patience Simango was a Finalist winner
4. Our School came up 2nd out of 10 teams (after all results were computed including other rounds that took place last week at Direct Contact)

Ladies and Gentlemen, help me to heartily congratulate our Jewels for such a commendable milestone. It is no doubt that our school is a beacon of excellence and indeed an Oasis of education.

Owing to the above-stated competition and the exhaustion that our participating Gems have been subjected to, we have seen it noble to give all our learners a rest tomorrow. Thus, there will be no school tomorrow.
